Creating beautiful walls of sound and ambient textures, Ben Brody’s FL◊W STATE combines post-rock and modern minimalism to create a dynamic resonance with their listeners. Starting in 2013 as a solo electric guitar project, Brody played a handful of shows and released an EP that was featured on WNYC's program New Sounds Listeners’ Poll, and was ranked among the top 10 best releases of 2013. After teaming up with several NYC musicians Flow State transformed into a full ensemble including saxes, bass, electric keys, and drums. Since then They've collaborated with a number of organizations including The Chelsea Symphony and multi-media arts collective MADart Creative. In 2014, they teamed up with singer/actress Elvy Yost (ABC's The Catch) premiering and recording Brody's song cycle, "Songs of Creation." Most recently, In 2015, they released their latest EP Where the Sky Meets the Earth.
